The book that im currently reading is called "freedom for sale- how we made money and lost our liberty" by J.Kampfhner. It started with the example of Singapore- the state so close to me recently, and it describes exactly what I experienced while being there: the citizens are okay with some cenzorship,no freedom of speech etc as long as they are prosperous and can afford their BMW's and HDB flats. The author perfectly analyses how different nations have different vision on the governance (China, Russia, U.S etc). Alright, I shall go back to reading :)
